I earned my bachelors in psychology from U.Mass Boston and my Master's degree in clinical social work from Boston University. I have worked in the field of mental health for the past twenty years. Having gone through the process and healed own root chakra, I became obsessed with the processes involved which lead me to Yoni steaming and the medicinal herbs that can aid in this journey. The energetic release of the trauma held in the body is intense and can often hinder full healing, and Yoni steaming offers a method to unlock those trapped energies, which when coupled with other healing practices can bring true body, mind, and spiritual healing.
I have been on a long quiet journey of self-love and healing of feminine energy through mediation practices, yoni steaming, and a stew of other spiritual practices. This journey has led me to complete an intensive Yoni Steam certification course focusing on organic herbal treatments, and a lifelong commitment to herbal healing practices. My training is focused on Yoni steaming using an assortment of organic herbs and salts to target the needs of our female patrons. For me steaming has helped me to reconnect with myself while sending loving and positive energy to my womb; steaming has been a healthful practice which has been very empowering to me on my personal journey. For this reason I am dedicated to working with women on their own journey to healing and self-love.
An ancient healing and cleansing modality that were used by many indigenous cultures from around the world, most notably found in Guatemala, Mexico, Haiti, Papua, New Guinea, Suriname, Ghana, Turkey, South Africa, Tanzania, Eritrea, Palau, Vietnam, Korea, Indonesia and India. The V Steam is a beautiful therapeutic healing practice in all its cultural diversity.
The medicinal properties of each herb being heated in a V Steam, is what renders physiological benefits-similar to Moxibustion in traditional Acupuncture. V Steams are highly recommended for postpartum women and widely used by Doulas and Midwives. They can safely be combined with either natural cycles or any cycle involving assisted reproductive technology such as IUI or IVF.
For centuries, women have shared this knowledge among one another, inspiring each of us to reconnect with ancestral wisdom of womb wellness-even understanding the importance of women supporting women. Holding communal space with our mothers, daughters, sisters, and closest friends during intimate self care even further inspires us to imbue a sense of confidence and honor of our sacred temples which gives rise to our vibrant radiance and feminine power and sparks an inner glow suffused with self love. The result is a healthier, more relaxed, nurtured and balanced connection to mother earth & self. Today, countless women are rediscovering the practice, along with its vast and varied benefits. It is becoming the talk of the town among some celebrities!
The purpose of the V Steam is to aid as an internal cleanser for the membranes of the vaginal tissues and the uterus. Steaming provides non-invasive, non-surgical treatment for purification and release.
It helps women to achieve and maintain optimal feminine, sexual, and reproductive health by increasing blood circulation and clearing out old residue. This is considered especially important for women with unexplained fertility conditions. Usually attributed to blood stagnation and blockage caused by incomplete emptying of menses each menstrual cycle.
It helps to regulate natural healthy cycles, balance hormone levels, enhance libido, and increase orgasmic pleasure.
Other benefits may include, menstrual support, elimination of yeastand tissue overgrowth, fungi, and bacteria, increase in cervical fluids, relaxing the vaginal opening, nourish and tone the uterine lining, assist with Fibroids, Cysts, Hemorrhoids and so much more.
In addition to the physical cleansing and release during the steam, many women may also release deeply held feelings resulting in healing from psychological trauma and suppressed and stored in cellular memory.
